I really enjoy running in the Saucony Ride 5.  This neutral shoe is light weight and responsive.  The cushion is just right.  I feel invincible in the Ride 5, like I could just continue running the entire day. The Ride 5 is a full ounce lighter than its predecessor.  Saucony has added more flex-grooves for […]

Sausony Peregrine

The Saucony Peregrine is the trail runner’s answer to the minimalist movement. At only 8.2 ounces and a 4 millimeter heel drop, this shoe is light, flexible and flat.  Since my high, rigid arches really like a dense cushion, I am actually not a big minimalist fan. But these Peregrines actually have a descent amount […]

I ran in the new Saucony Peregrine trail shoe today. All I can say is ………..awesome! The Peregrine is lightweight and flexible plus it has a rock shield in the forefoot. I used to be an Exodus fan but I am switching over to the Peregrine. Our trail started out rocky but the Peregrine allowed me to skim right over them. No barefoot running here! I like shoes. I don’t like having to worry where my feet will land or having to pick my way through a dry river bed.

Recently, we got in the new Saucony Guide 4 stability shoe. Now, I am not in the stability category since I am neutral runner with high, rigid arches, but I have to admit this shoe feels good. Honestly, I am not really a Saucony fan because I think they feel too stiff, but the Guide […]

These shoes are great! I have been running in them for a few weeks now and absolutely love how comfortable and light they are. The fastwitch is great for short sprint workouts, short distance running as well as the longer distances up to a half marathon. The shoe is appropriately named fastwitch. I feel lighter, […]
